As a member of the HR leadership team, your responsibilities will be related to performance management, benefit administration, legislative compliance, administration and employee relations.
In summary, as a Human Resources Business Partner you will:
- Assist with strategic HR planning and development
- Facilitate performance management throughout the credit union
- Enhance best practices for performance management for probationary and annual reviews
- Oversee and manage the competitive Employee Advantage Program
- Lead the benefit program to ensure delivering the strategic priority to “treat you well”
- Manage short term disability case management including relationships with our providers
- Initiate changes for legislative compliance
- Address and resolve employee concerns by supporting the management team
- Foster our corporate culture to “hire the best, treat you well and see you stay”
- Provide support on HR administrative processes, procedures and audits
As the successful candidate, you’ll have responsibility for:
- Manage and review probationary performance reviews
- Assist with day to day benefit administration
- Actively managing short and long term disability cases
- Ensuring legislative compliance with all applicable laws related to employment
- Identifying operational efficiencies and creating programs to support changes
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentially
- Work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- Demonstrate an ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Occasional travel throughout Ontario
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources or a related field
- 5 years of previous progressive HR experience
- At least two years of leadership experience
- An individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expert computer proficiency skills operating Microsoft Excel and Word
These additional skills are considered assets too:
- Experience working in the financial services industry
- Experience working with UKG Human Resources Information Systems

In summary, the Customer Service Representative will:
- Respond to external member inquires in a timely, professional manner
- Provide quality service to members
- Process basic over the counter financial transactions for our members such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, US transactions, money orders and more
- Complete miscellaneous administrative duties
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- Completed post-secondary education
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment
- Two to four years of cash handling experience
These additional skills are considered assets too:
- Prior experience within the financial services industry
