About Us

Our Story

Rapport – A Division of WFCU Credit Union is a member-owned, co-operative, leading financial institution. We pride ourselves on developing innovative products that are designed with the needs of our members in mind. Our business and community decisions are based on providing you with the best and broadest range of services that are conveniently accessible. You can be proud to bank with a local institution that continually invests in the community where our members and employees live and work.

Our History

Our roots, which began in 1945, originated when a group of Ontario Public Sector employees came together to form the Queen’s Park Civil Service Credit Union. Starting out with only 20 members, by 1978, membership had expanded well beyond Queen’s Park, accepting members from all over Ontario. In 1988, the Credit Union adopted the new name of Ontario Civil Service Credit Union Limited until it merged with Provincial Alliance Credit Union to become Rapport Credit Union in 2014.

Since then, the credit union has been serving all Ontarians in nine communities and surrounding areas, providing its members with hands-on personal service and remaining committed to the financial well-being of its members and the belief in doing what’s right in the communities they serve.

True to their commitment to their members and community, on September 1, 2024, Rapport Credit Union joined operations with WFCU Credit Union , becoming Rapport – A Division of WFCU Credit Union. This expanded their service offerings to anyone living or working in Ontario and provided their members with increased access to a wider range of market-leading banking options to further assist them in reaching and exceeding their financial goals.
